Our cookie statement

1. Introduction

This cookie statement applies to all websites managed by or affiliated with Digital Address Hub.

In this statement, we explain what cookies are, which cookies we use and for what purpose, and how you can change cookie settings or delete cookies yourself.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, smartphone or tablet) when you visit a website. These text files contain information that can be read by the website when you visit the site again at a later time. For example, cookies ensure that you stay logged in, or that we can keep statistics to improve our websites.

3. Why do we use cookies?

3.1 Functional cookies

These cookies are necessary for the technical operation of our websites and the ease of use. For example, they allow you to stay logged in to your account, or remember your preferences (e.g., language setting, login status).

Because functional cookies are essential, they are set by default and you cannot object to them without the website possibly no longer functioning properly.

3.2 Analytical cookies

We use analytical cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) to measure and analyse the use of our websites. For example, we can see which pages are popular, which browsers are used and how visitors navigate through the site.

If we use Google Analytics (or a similar tool) with anonymized IP addresses and the data is not shared for advertising purposes, we may do so on the basis of legitimate interest. Otherwise, we will ask you for consent on the first visit via our cookie banner.

3.3 Marketing or tracking cookies

If applicable (e.g. for retargeting or social media plugins), these cookies will only be set with your explicit consent. You can use our cookie banner to indicate whether or not you accept these marketing cookies.

Examples are cookies from Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insights, or other advertising platforms to be able to show targeted advertisements.

3.4 Other cookies

Sometimes additional cookies may occur, such as a chat widget (Tawk.to) or embedded videos (YouTube, Vimeo). The provider may also place cookies. We will mention this, as far as possible, in our cookie banner or in the table below.

4. Which cookies do we place exactly?

Below is an example of what a cookie table can look like. Replace or supplement with the actual cookies placed by your websites.

5. Consent and settings

On your first visit, we will display a cookie banner in which you can indicate which cookies you want to allow (functional, analytical, marketing). You can change this choice later:

  • In the cookie banner: You can turn categories on or off via "Settings".

  • Via browser settings: You can block or delete cookies in any browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari). Please note that our websites may not function optimally.

Have you previously consented to cookies and want to change the settings? Then you can update the cookie preferences via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer (or via your browser settings).

6. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties when, for example, you access content from them (such as YouTube or Vimeo videos) or use social media integrations. We have no control over how these third parties use cookies, and please refer to the cookie and privacy statements of these parties for more information.

7. Processing of personal data

If cookies collect personal data (such as IP address), please also refer to our privacy statement for more information about how we handle your data, what your rights are and how you can contact them.

8. Changes

We may amend this cookie statement from time to time, for example if our websites or legislation changes. The most recent version can always be found on this page. At the bottom you can see when this statement was last modified.

Changes to this Cookie Statement will also be reflected in the overview available under Section 7 of our Privacy Statement, which is updated regularly.

9. Other

In the event of any discrepancies between this English version and any translations, the English version shall prevail. Translations are provided for convenience only and do not create any legal obligations or rights.

10. Questions or complaints

Do you have any questions about this Cookie Statement or would you like to file a complaint? Please contact our Privacy Officer via info@digitaladdresshub.com or consult our Privacy Statement for more information. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority within the EU or the UAE.
